For the past three years, I’ve been noticing a pattern in my hair fall. It usually starts around July and continues for 5 to 6 months with extreme hair fall, mostly from the middle part of my scalp, where the hair becomes noticeably thin. After that, the hair fall stops completely for about 2 to 3 months—during this time, not a single hair falls. But then the same cycle starts again. I’ve been observing this for the last three years. I don’t even eat junk food—especially in the past year, since I’ve been dieting to lose weight, my junk food intake has been very minimal. I really don’t know what the reason is behind this extreme hair fall.
