Hello, I have significant hair loss especially in the crown area. I have visited multiple dermats but to no avail. My scalp is oily, with occasional bumps coming up. I recently contacted a dermat who suggested monoxidil 2% solution but I researched and found various side effects and that it doesn't work on oily scalp. Can someone please confirm if its okay to monoxidil and its side effects especially if hair loss is mainly due to hormone and stress. Its difficult to follow a treatment when multiple doctors suggest different things. Thank you !
