Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

Hi doc, i am having a persistent dry cough for almost 6 months from now , i have consulted a gp four months back and he prescribed an inhaler . The cough goes aways within two to three days after i started to use the inhaler, but it reappears after two weeks . Its not getting any worse or its chronic but itz not getting cured anyway , and it comes mostly in night . forget to say , am a smoker , just one or two daily . What might be the reason for this ?

2 months ago, I had a problem of cough cold and fever.I went to doctor,he said it is bronkytis because there was whizzing sound in my breathing.He gave me some medicines with which I got some problem in my ear.he changed the medicines that problem was solved but its more than 2 months now, m constantly suffering from cough with problem in breathing with whizzing sound. Please suggest me something.

Hye .. i am on dialysis and having cough for around 2 weeks .. have taken medicines and all but condition is same .. i thought there must be water in lungs as i am kidney patient but i have done my x-ray and it is normal .. i thnk its cause of some infection ..and the cough was more on night rather than in day .. also i need to tke small small breaths ..   may b lung or throat .. help please to get rid of it

Hi. My mother has been using the nebulizer for over a week now to reduce her asthma. But she tends to cough "a lot" during the day and very much during the night(every 5 minutes) and has had a week full of sleepless nights. Any reasons why nebulizer/nebulizing causes such chronic cough problems? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I have problem of cold. My nose is runny and cough problem since 4 days and I also taken all precautions. I took vicks action 500 and another medicine for nose runny. But till now I m not feel better and now light pain in elbows , feeling sleepy, cough in my neck. So I am afraiding is this the symptoms of swine flu?

I am coughing since 1 months, I had this previously and went to doctors, they said this is due to my liver problem and due to gas I have swelling at my neck which causes coughing. I tried Veloz L, Veloz D and Pantacid capsules and after 3 months it was cured. The doctor clearly told me not to consume alcohol but I consumed, now I have same problem

My 2.5 year old son has been prescribed asthalin for his cough. There is a lot of congestion in his chest and nose and mouth passages. We have used it once a day for close to 2 months now, but doesn't seem to have reduced. More over he coughs in his sleep and a lot of times chokes because of his flem. Please advice what to do.
