Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

My kid get bouts of cough (non-stop) for 50-60 min daily or every alternate day& it getting stopped after 50-60 min-rest time there is no sign of cough . This is happening since dec.Its either 9-11am or 7:30 -9 pm .He was on montair lc syrup for 6 months.His chest xray was normal.His IEG test was 61.78 Attaching other tests performed. If this is allergic cough & is there any thing i need to tk care. These bouts are only once in a day not daily but alternate days. My paediatric told that its ok to cough for sometime not to worry will it cause any damage to lungs? But very often he develops wheezing which also goes away

Hello baby is 5 months 20 days old, he is doing ghar ghar since yesterday, giving him nebuliser with nacl 3%, but today morning he is been coughing not regularly but yes he is coughing after giving nebuliser he is coughing alot for a while,when he sleeps there is no ghar ghar sound, nor he is coughing till now atleast, giving him corex dx, can I apply viks baby rub on his chest and back? And I do have ascoril la syrup, which is better ascoril la or corex dx please guide.

Dear doctor My 3+ year old son 13 kg having cough and fever since yesterday.. Actually mild cough from 3/4 days and since he had some cold drink and ice cream..but from now cough sounds like irritating and pain when coughing with bulgum stuck there and fever is 101 ...local doctor givien Alex P syrup but it didn't work fever going and coming back in every 4/6 hours...please suggest any medicine to help him...thank you.

I have coughh problem from the last 20 days have taken clarinova 500 1 time a day for 6 days but no improvement...after some days took azicip 250 from 3 days morning n eveni g 1 tab...n syrup bronchas...but i dont cough continously mostly when my i feel itching in thorat i start coughing n when i spit phelgum comes out...few days before i had cough cold n fever but took medicence felt better but having cough problem n itching in thorat plz suggest some good medience for the same.will ve going to the doc for x ray.

Hi, I am 36 years old female. Around a month back I felt small itching in my throat and after two days I started coughing terribly. I took home remedies like ginger, warm water, Benedril. But nothing helped. So after 10-12 days I visited general physician. He prescribed me Augmed 625, moncel L, and cough syrup awexDx. Even taking these for five days nothing improved. Then I visited ENT specialist and he gave me Refzil O, Allegra. I took Allegra for few days and then I started with Refzil O. It's been four days but I still have cough. Though severity is not that much. I spit out greenish mucus whenever I cough. My eyes burn a little bit and my forehead feels little heavy. Please advise me what should I do. Initailly started with little throat pain and then turned to cough,initally didn't had any medicine for 1st 2 weeks but then wen it was disturbing my sleep i went for cough syrup Ambrodil-d .having cough with white mucus.sometimes yellow.It helped temporarily but didnt give permanent solution.hence i went for aitibiotics and anti allergic for 3 days course .Now it is reduced but again aftr the 2 days of the medicine got completed yesterday night i was coughing .& sweating

I have continuous cough problems for last 2 months. Normal local doctors prescribed cough syrup and medicines, which gave me only 10% relief from persistent cough. I dont have any other health issue. Post consulting an ENT specialist, my eosinophil count showed as 700/cmm. whereas the range must be 30-350/cmm. He said because of that i have become allergic. The specialist gave me medicine for 7-8 days post which i have again started to cough. Kindly suggest what can be done to reduce this count

Its been around 1 month, still suffering for cough. I have taken some medicine for cough like ( Azithromycin, amoxicillin , montex etc ) but nothing worked today i had an xray test but it was fully clear can you suggest me , what to do in this situation ??
