I am experiencing a nagging cough for a few weeks now . It occurs a few times a day with irritation in the throat. I am gargling regularly with betadine and having dry cough syrup. I have no chest pain . I experience shortness of breath only while coughing. Should i visit a doctor . Or let it be.

Suffering from fever (99.6 F) and cough since last 3-4 days. Not sure what to do. I have taken Nicip and paracetamol tablets for fever and cheston and Zeet syrup for cough since last 2-3 days but still fever and cough has persisted. Pls suggest what to do to rectify the situation?

She had viral fever few days back. She took ajithral500 and sompras d. After 2 days she got away with fever but her coughing remained intact along with nasal congestion. She then started taking ambrilite cough syrup thrice a day while continuing with sompras d in the morning but there have been no reduction in her coughing frequency. Kindly suggest.
