Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

I have had a slowly progressing cough. From an irritation to a dry cough to a wet cough. It has been 3 weeks now. I haven't taken any medication. No cough syrup or anything.

My son had dry cough earlier few days back. Now it turned to wet cough. He is having from lot of mucus. I gave him ascoril for last 2 days .Can I give him mucolytic syrup . Plz suggest syrup

When he had fever his cough was dry, by seeing that doc prescribed him levolin syrup. I just want to know in case of wet cough can we continue with levolin syrup?
