When he had fever his cough was dry, by seeing that doc prescribed him levolin syrup. I just want to know in case of wet cough can we continue with levolin syrup? Or should go with syrup which can be used for wet cough, please suggest Thank you

If mild, avoid unnecessary medicine and just give steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down. If not improving OR accompanied by other symptoms like wheezing or breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed, consult your paediatrician.
