I have cough problem last from 3 years.my cough problem is a not Completely clear by using cough syrup and tab. Now I'm suffering breathing problems.

I have dry cough since 3 to 4 days and after taking cough syrup there is no improvement. Due to coughing there is pain in my stomach and throat.

I've had a cough for over a month now, and a few weeks ago, I was given a phenergan/codeine syrup. I haven't been taking it because the cough subsides when I lie down, which means a syrup that helps me sleep is useless--I've been sleeping normally without it.
