Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

My mother has been coughing since the past 8 days. It gets severe in the night resulting in the lack of sleep. From what I have observed it is dry cough and we have used the general medication such as cough syrup and tablets but it's of no use.

She is having severe cld and cough. Doctor advised T minic syrup with which the cold has subsided but she is now have severe dry coughing and which increases at night and she is not abke to sleep also. Please suggest medicine for cough.
