Is sinarest syrup safe for my 8 months old baby She is suffering from cold and cough and barking cough .

I've been facing with severe cough since 3 days. Due to which I feel feverish after continuous coughing. I have been taking tulasi syrup (ayurvedic). But hasn't decreased. Is it coz of weather change? Or should I consult doc?
