Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

Hi doctors My baby is in his first year. He is now 11 month completed. He was suffered from cough and cold. So he was given medicine for 10 days. After that he got relieve from cough. But after completing treatment from past 4 days he coughs at night while sleeping. Arrount 1 am at night to 4:30 am . and the coughing is fearsome for me. He continue coufing for atleast 1 minutes to 2 or three minutes. Then I gave him water then sleep again. But why this occurs at night while sleeping. What are the causes And what can I do at same time if coughing can't controlled Please help me.

My mother is suffering from cough.In 2015 my mother was suffering from tuberculosis. Now the problem is cough and we visited a ent doctor prescribed one antibiotic and also checked the chest x ray and said it's normal den she was alright for 2-4 days den again she got cough with sometimes clear mucus. Then she took Montec LC tablet for 1 month then she was alright. She was not coughing at all. After stopping the medicine for 4 days. She again got cough. Rainy season is also there in my place. Again after 4 days started with Montec Lc tablet. But still she is having cough. She is drinking hot water and also taking mint leaves steam and also karvol plus steam. Please advice whats needs to be done.

I was down with cough issue from last three months and meanwhile I visited to three different doctors. But nothing worked major. I had done my TB skin test and chest x ray test, both the reports were normal. Two week ago I visited one more doctor and told him about my cough issue, he gave me some medicine in three visits to him, following which I observed major improvement in my coughing but still I feel something like belgum or cough is stuck inside my throat. To clear this I have to cough. Is this is viral fever as all doc told me??? Or something major?? I don't know why is it happening to me from last three months. I am into depression because of this. It's very irritating. Please suggest me doctor what to do now. I am tired of taking medicines. (PS: In my previous visits to doctors I havent visited to pulmonologist yet. I visited to 2 MBBS, 1 BHMS and 1 general physician)

I am severely coughing from a week with a little shortness of breath. It started after catching cold. The doctor has prescribed me  COMBIHALE FB 200 INHALER ( 2puffs at 8am and 2puffs at 8 pm for 2 months), Rabiab D Tablet (1 everyday morning before eat for 2 months), Predmet 8 mg ( 1 tab after meal and 1 tab after dinner  for first 4 days and later 1 tab after meal for next 3 days, a total course of 7 days ), Fantigo M ( 1 tablet everyday before bed for 2 months). Also the doctor prescribed me two tests 1) Total serum ige crp  2) cxr pa digital My Ige 19.9, Crp : 30.9

Dear dr I am suffering from stuffy nose and cough wet , dry ,. During morning wet cough come out excessive and and during evening and night cough and throat become more irritating. Last 5 days .pls suggest medicine . After 6 pm dry cough and throat frequency increase

My 1 yo. daughter is having green...kinda loose and stinky (not normal "stinky") potty. Along with this she has been coughing and when she coughs you can hear the phelgem wheezing. When i mention wheezing please note that wheezing sound is coming ONLY when she coughs and NOT WHILE BREATHING. Her body temperature is around 99° and it's not so fever-like in touch. Some are recommending Levolin 1mg. Please guide us what to do.

When I wake up The coigh which come is Brown in color and it's happening from past 4-5 days. (Cough photo attached) I had an xray taken and shown to pulmonologist around 30-35 days back for prolong cough (brown cough wasn't there) and at that time he told it's sinus issue (Xray image attached) What should i do next ? Hello 4 weeks back It started with little coughing and then fever for 3-4 days, after taking medicines from a local physician fever has not come, he had given antibiotics,i had done fever profile blood test all tests were negative, but now from last 10 days Having dry cough without any other system mostly during morning and evening, no breathing problem or any chest pain only dry cough.

Hi I have been coughing since past two months about twice a week. The cough seems to originate form throat and associated with irritation, mostly the cough comes up when I had sweets , cool drinks and certain foods, yesterday i had whole general body check through some blood tests with I including x ray , then it found ima having prominent bronhnovascular marking in two lungs, please someone can advise what ''tis might mean by my systoms and condition.
