Getting cough from past 2 months.
My mother is suffering from cough.In 2015 my mother was suffering from tuberculosis. Now the problem is cough and we visited a ent doctor prescribed one antibiotic and also checked the chest x ray and said it's normal den she was alright for 2-4 days den again she got cough with sometimes clear mucus. Then she took Montec LC tablet for 1 month then she was alright. She was not coughing at all. After stopping the medicine for 4 days. She again got cough. Rainy season is also there in my place. Again after 4 days started with Montec Lc tablet. But still she is having cough. She is drinking hot water and also taking mint leaves steam and also karvol plus steam. Please advice whats needs to be done.

I hope she took full course of treatment for tuberculosis.. I presume pulmonary TB and turned sputum negative. Now she has recent onset cough of few months duration.. Mostly dry cough or minimally mucoid aggravated during rainy season, subsided by antihistamines. From your history it could be either upper airway allergy or cough variant asthma.
Next Steps
I really would suggest a consultation, since there are lots of grey areas in the given history. Like amount and color of sputum? Excess sneezing or runny nose? Etc
