Dry Cough and Mucus more than 2 Months

Asked for Male, 28 Years

I have been suffering from Dry cough from the last 2 months .I consulted octors again n again and tried several medicenes, for some time,I got relief but after some days, situation is still the same,nothing makes any difference. I am really worried about my situatio and I am scared now. I have also taken my X-ray and Blood Test.But both X-ray and Blood Test is normal and there is a little bit of mucus is always there.Don't know whats going on,So, Please help me and cure me.

Dry cough needs to be evaluated to rule out allergies. You may need to undergo pulmonary functions test. If all the tests are normal then it may be post viral cough which is a common type of dry cough syndrome after an attack of viral upper respiratory tract infection. Usually it will resolve on its own within few days. You can use dry cough syrups, strepsils like lozenges, steam inhalation for symptomatic relief
