Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

My child has cough for more than two weeks.. we have visited to the doctor cople of times at first they have given budesol and cough stopped for a week but again it started last week, once again we have visited the hospital and they have changed the medicine to duolin which is a Nebulizer medicine. As per the doctor child is coughing because of throat infection and their is no flum but it did not work and child is getting fever also. Medicines given are Duolin, P250, Ambrodil S.

I have been battling what my at home doctor thinks is "bronchitis" for two weeks now. After week one I went in to see her and she gave me a z-pack. The coughing started to get better but I still have some coughing with alot of white mucus coming up. Last night I awoke out of dead sleep unable to breathe. I am patient of  Cholinergic Urticaria from last few years and take cetrizine once in a day.. I felt from last few months that symptoms of cholinergic Urticaria was few decreased but another problem arose. When I ate some sweets and sour content, coughing (khansi) is start with white watery serum(cough) and some noisy sound came from chest like cough... My mom, about 68 years, occasionally, gets a dry cough attack. The cough attack is a series of repeated coughs, lasting a minute or so, sometimes it leaves her breathless. There is no trigger. I had tb pluritis... Comlete 6month dots properly last week.. Now i have dry cough since past few days sometime very thin sputus yellow colour...i had cold few weeks ago... It seems during cough tht passage in throat became narrow and gharad gharad sound in throat while taking and releasing deep breath...but soothes after cough is over..is it something alarming

My son is having cough and cold since more than a week. He was already on light Ayurvedic medication for cough but since the progress was not very good, We started off by giving homeopathy medicine after consulting a doctor. Today it would be the 4th day of homeopathy medicine. Within a day he started having running nose and cough seemed to be reduced. But since last 2 days he is having fever on and off and chest seems to be congested. Should I switch back to allopathy for quick relief?

Maanvitha 6 years girl is suffering with continuous cough and cold since 20 days. She is getting cough continuously even we use medicine like cough syrupps and homoeopathic medicine. I think pollution could also one reason as our house is 50 mts to to mumbai national highway where there are lot of vehicles 24/ 7. Or it could be because of weather changes. I have really bad acid reflux the past 3 days which has caused a sore throat and severe dry cough. I haven't been able to sleep cause I get this feeling of being chocked/drowned. I sit up, burp and cough everything this happens. I started taking Benadryl for the cough and antacid (pepto-bismol) and acid reducer (zinetac) for the acid reflux. Is there anything else that I can take so that I can sleep comfortablly? Can I take Benadryl with the antacids?

I have been having Cough and throat pain for more than 15 days now. Although I have dry cough, the throat pain comes and goes. Pain will not there much in the morning time, but as the time passes esp. in the evening and night it will grow so much so that I can't even swallow my saliva let alone food item. Earlier, before getting cough and cold I would have throat pain as a symptom but it would disappear after 2-3 days, but this time around it simply doesn't show any sign of going.

I was suffering from viral fever two months back and took time to recover but my throat problem still persists.
