Hi my baby is 11 days old having cold and cough, cold is little bit subsided but he is coughing a lot sometimes, I can notice phlegm coming out, showed to our paediatrician he said to give nebuliser 5 times a day as you can't give medication at this time, anyone can please suggest what dietary thing I can have , heard having rice can also cause cough in babies, also important thing after my c section I suffered from cough, which I believe is passed on to my baby, what remedy can I take to make sure his cough is gone soon and is this serious??

I am Having acidity heartburn and cough in throat all time for long time. I m habitual of this. But cough is so sticky to throat sometime creates problem like coughing specially brush 🪥 time when tongue clean by tongue cleaner. A heavy cough raised and my eyes filled with tears. Rest all day I feel keep moving to muth and throat . I need solution . I have heartburn acidity common issue. So I drink water whenever I feel same. Hi, I had cold for two weeks. I had fever for a few days and cough was persistent. It got worse and then better. I still have cough mostly dry cough but sometimes white phlegm comes out. It has been a week since I got my energy back and I feel fully fine but the cough is still there and it's causing my ribs to pain a bit at the end of the day. Next day I feel fine. Cough doesn't wake me up or anything. My pulse oximeter result is normal as well at 99%. PEF is 550 and above. I am 35 yrs, 167cm, 64.5kg. BMI is normal. I am fit in good shape.

Hello Doctor Am facing occasional dry cough from recent days...it's hurting throat and feel like itchy throat.the cough suddenly comes like if we open suddenly a chilly powder packet we urge to sneeze at that time like d same way some sort of urgeness to cough is being felt..no other symptoms not even cold or phelgum can strained throat cause the cough? Coz I teach online so throat stress is more so are these two things related?please suggest remedies or could it be gerd cough? Thank you

I am having cough from past 5 days. I had consulted a doctor but the medicines did not work.and the cough is so severe that i am unable to sleep at night.the moment i try to sleep i get cough attacks. I tried all home remedies but all into vain.i am getting cough attacks during day as well as night and they are so severe that at times i vomit.it is very stressful and i am unable to get rest and proper sleep.i havent slept from past 5 days. I tried taking honey, herbal tea, ginger, sleeping on inclined bed and every other home remedy available on google but my condition isnt improving.i have previously consulted 2 doctors and the medicine given by them is not effective on me. My cough is getting worse day by day. kindly suggest what is to be done.

My mother is having sever cough problem since last 3-4 weeks , though we have shown her to multiple doctors and even tried homeopathy , but she hasn't got any relief and none of doctor able to tell the act reason for her continuous cough, as most of them told that it's due to allergy and given medicine for the same , but still she didn't get better. She has a conjunction in her chest and get a attack sort of coughing which continues for 4-5 mins , especially in night and she feels very tried all the time . She is a diabetic since last almost 9-10 years and is on insulin twice a day from last 1 1/2 years . Please advise the exact reason for her cough and which doctor do we need to consult like GP,ENT , internal Medicine or any other and even please advise if any test also need to some to ascertain the cause for cough.

Got fever followed by bad cough. For cough and fever iucid ultra was given along with dolo and zixi. Fever went but cough remains and comes only when lying position. Then advised with asoril ls. 2 times nebulisation done. Not slept from past 5 days. Now doctor prescribed Tab levoday 500mg- 0-0-1 (5), Tab Iucid ultra - 0-0-1(15), cap bayace 100mg-1-0-1 (30), tab ivepred 4mg 1-0-1 (10). Is it safe to take All these tablet as prescribed at once because all seems to be for cough only. And is it should be taken completely as mentioned? or we can discontinue once cough stops. Please suggest.

Dear sir my son is 2 year 1 month old and his weight is 12.5kg .. he has a fever since yesterday his body temperature 99.5 getting highest but when I give paracetamol syrup (PCM) his temperature get down 97°F it's getting down but after 3 or 4 hours he has getting body temperature 99.5°F.
