11 days baby coughing
Hi my baby is 11 days old having cold and cough, cold is little bit subsided but he is coughing a lot sometimes, I can notice phlegm coming out, showed to our paediatrician he said to give nebuliser 5 times a day as you can't give medication at this time, anyone can please suggest what dietary thing I can have , heard having rice can also cause cough in babies, also important thing after my c section I suffered from cough, which I believe is passed on to my baby, what remedy can I take to make sure his cough is gone soon and is this serious??

As your baby is just 11 days old, it’s better to stick to regimen advised by your pediatrician. Babies take time in resolving cough which is very normal for them. If there is any decrease in fees intake or faster breathing / letharginess then consult pediatrician urgently. U can have warm liquids/ gargles etc for faster resolution.
