My brother was suffering from cough since from 5 months he gets better but again he will have this bad cough he is taking medicine but nothing is happening tell me wat to do

Hello doc, I am suffering from very severe cough.I have used clarithromycin and cefixime antibiotics, but it is not going away.I tried natural methods also but of no use.I recently gone through viral fever .The temperature became normal but cough is not going away.It is disturbing my daily activities and I couldn't sleep and concentrate.
