Dyspnoea
Vital sign(hr,RR,fever)
Chest radiography
In case cough is acute that is less than 3 weeks ,it is mostly due to viral respiratory tract infection...it is accompanied by fever,nasal congestion and sore throat...
Investigation; chest xray....pulse oximeter for oxygen saturation....purulent sputum is associated with bacterial infection...wheezing and ronchi on auscultation suggest acute bronchitis....

treatment; erythromycin 250 mg four times daily for 7 days
