I am worried now for my son.age 2.5 years. weight 10 kg. 2 days in fever. Last week had cold. Doctor gave Azeewok and maxtra. No much improved. Two days ago consulted doctor at Sitaram Bharatiya Delhi. He gave meftal p and an zocef. Fever still coming after 8 to 10 hours gap. Mild running nose. Please suggest should I go for tests?

I have been fever constantly between 100 to 102.5 from last four days. My TLC is 11500 and malariya is nagative. I have taken madicin Sumo,Alrid, and Zocef 250 tablets. But still fever repeat also constently 100 to 102. During fever i have face cold and cough also due to cold water sponge. My fever started from cold.

I have been suggested to have zocef 500 for baterial infection which cost around rs.810 for 10 tabs and composed of only CEFUROXIME 500MG . Similarly, there is another tablet of same composition from different company named Spectraxime 500mg and cost only rs.200 for 10 tabs. May I know why there is such huge difference in cost even if the composition in medicine same and only company is different?

I had itching in my scrotum and penis area and I saw Urologist and he told me it's mild folliculitis (baaltod) and advices me to use moisturiser and gave me Zocef 500. I took this medicine for 3 days and later repeated again for 3 days. And using moisturiser and Fourderm to cure that. It's three weeks now and itching is reduced but not completely gone. Pls advice. I have a sore throats from last few months, ENT doctor gave anti allergic medicines which dint relief and asked to get a CBC done. It showed increase TLC at 12.5k and 8.35k Neutrophil after which doc recommended Zocef 500 for 5 days and get CBC done again. Today the results are 12.1k TLC and 8k with increase in lymphocyte at 3.03. Reason?
