My father is 64 years old and has undergone angioplasty on November 2016. Right now he is taking three medicines Rosuvastatin 20 mg, Glimepiride and metformin 1 mg + 500 mg and Thyrox 12.5 MCG. Can he take the vaccine? Does the medicine have to be discontinued before taking the vaccination? Also, which vaccine should he take?

My dad underwent bypass surgery last November.. he is under medication after that.. he is taking clopitab A, Rosuvastatin-20 mg, antidiabetic medicines, Amlokind 2.5 mg and Revelol xl -50 and epineuron.. today blood test showed CPK LEVEL to be 217. Is it a cause of worry?

Hi, In a Routine test report my SGPT level is 67 & 213 cholesterol level & triglycerides 231 with no complications. I have taken an advise from Physician & he has advised me to take rosuvastatin for 3 months & nothing for Liver. Is 67 SGPT is normal ? Please advise . Thanks

Dear Sir/ ma'am I had chest pain and it's radiated to back side and left arm therefore i have done ECG . It's showing non specific t wave abnormality. Lipid profile LDL 139 rest all are normal Hb1ac 6.4 Physician started rosuvastatin 10 mg I am taking rosuvastatin 10 mg since 3 days. Dear Doctor, I have high Triglycerides which is 253 mg/dl. However my total cholesterol is 196 mg/dl I have been prescribed Rozucor 10 to lower my Triglycerides, however as I came to know it contains Rosuvastatin which causes kidney damage. Instead of Rozucor 10 can I take Niacin tablets which does not have adverse effects on kidney. Please tell me the exact dose of Niacin tablets and the name of the tablet so that I can buy in chemist shop.

Hello, I am 35 yr old male, taking rosuvastatin 5 mg + fenofibrate 145 mg with dinner. Cholesterol is now 100 and triglycerides under 95 - all lipids under control now. But the problem is 2 hours after dinner when I test sugar level it is high 170. When I stop taking Lipirose-F 5/145 , sugar level after dinner comes to 125. What should I do? Please suggest any other medicine in place of Lipirose-F 5.

He is on diabetic medications for type 2 since 2-3 years. Earlier he was taking glimepiride 1 and Metformin 500 mg twice a day. He was having hypoglycemia and thus is taking once a day since many months. He is also taking rosuvastatin 20 mg since a year. Now he has lost around 15 kgs of weight and is controlling his diet.
