I'm almost 11 weeks pregnant and is experiencing diarrhea and cramping for the last two days. Although the cramping has decreased almost entirely, I'm still having diarrhea. I plan to take otc loperamide™ Imodium. Just want to know if it's gonna be safe for my baby.

My mother is suffering from diarrhea since a week....we tried many anti diarrhea medication like Imodium (loperamide) and any even some home remedies.....but the stool still watery and even food is not completely digested....and even little bit of greenish colour.

Loose motions about 8 times in night
My mother aged 70 years is experiencing loose motions. We have already given her 2tablets of Loperamide and 1 tablet of eldopar.
However it has not stopped.
