Loperamide is an antimotility drug which may decrease the frequency of motion but not treat the root cause. As you mentioned patient is suffering from leukaemia for which she is on medications so this may be side effects related to that also. I advice to revisit your consulting doctor as he/she will be the best one to treat you better.
For symptomatic relief you must give ORS to avoid dehydration and preprobiotics like
tab. sporlac plus twice a day if not contraindicated by your oncologist.
I advise you to take your mother to the ER so that her condition can be controlled. Kindly administer ORS for her and make sure she has a liquid diet of soups and juices and slowly increase to solid food based on how she can tolerate it until then continue a liquid diet. Make sure that she doesn't get dehydrated.
