I have been diagnosed with a bladder infection. I have RA & osteoarthritis in both knees, I take methotrexate 2 tabs once a week. My doctor prescribed ciprofloxacin HCL 25 0 MG 2x/day My problem is that I have a double knee replacement surgery scheduled for March 8th and I need to take this medication till all gone which would be till March 2nd. I was told by the knee surgeon’s office that all meds & supplements should stop a week before surgery. I will have to stop antibiotic on 3/1

For the past 2 or 3 months I’ve been itching really bad when ever I start to itch it always seems when I’m hot, nervous, anxious etc.. but there’s also time when it will come out of no where. I’ve used Benadryl but it only calms down the itching. I literally have to be kept cool 24/7. I haven’t been able to get out of the house unless it’s short trips. I have diabetes type 1. I’ve used lotion, cetirizine, ranitidine HCL, and clindamycin and nothing seems to work

The patient,70years,female, is diabetic and hypertensive and currently on ATDs for the past one year for TB Lymphadenopathy. I wanted to take a second opinion for medication prescribed by a physician. I was feeling weakness from some weeks. I did blood test and vitamin b12 test. Blood test was detected normal, but B12 was deficient (133). Doctor prescribed a course of b12 injections, which I have started. Howeve, my doubt ia on some medicines prescribed to me. I have been suggested to take Pantoprazole Sodium and Sustained Release Domperidone capsules in morning, which I think are antacids. And other medicine for vitamins has formula- 'Methyolicobalamin, calcium carbonate, calcitrol, pyridoxine HCl, zinc sulphate, folic acid" My doubt is that I read that b12 deficiency is also caused by taking antacids. So why has docter prescribed antacids alond with vitamin tablets?

Hi, I am Pravesh and i am a student. Since few months i am facing problem of hair loss. A few years earlier i was diagnosed with certain kind of fungi infection near my eyes and since then this fungal infection has occurred oftenly. I use ofloxacin ornidazole terbinafine hcl propionate cream for my fungal infection. I suspect my skin is very prone to fungal infection and because of this i am having acute hair fall. I also have scaly patches in my scalp and i believe my scalp is not healthy. Kindly guide me through this so that i can take necessary action for my hair fall. Hi Doctor, I am looking for a solution to my 2 months old baby who had 3 surgeries at age 17 days, 19 days, and 1 month due to malrotation. 40cm of her small intestine were taken off. It's been exactly 1 month after the last surgery and she's having loose stool right after feeding her a formula. Loperamide Cap, Metrogyl, RX Plus Drops, Vit D3 Drops, and Tummy Soft Drops are being adviced. Despite a month of treatment, she's still having severe loose stool (20+ times a day). Lately, her stool started containing mucus-type blood in a little amount occasionally. Please help! The rashes on her butts too aren't healing even after applying Cutisoft Cream and Clotrimazol twice each everyday, and Coconut Oil in between. Please help my baby so that her diarrhea/loose stool stops ASAP and her rashes heal. Thank you.

Doctors - 2 years back I was detected with UTI, but later ruling all other symptoms and tests I was detected with overactive bladder and then later developed INS too because of stress. However, is been 2 years and I have tried all medicines like Dariten 10mg for overactive bladder and Rifamaxin for IBS. However I still have the symptoms when I I go out in places where I cannot assure myself that there will be washrooms available readily. This fear has led to loss of social life and lack of travel. I have also started avoiding business travels and have been affected by the job now for a long time now. It's been 3 years and nothing has seemed to work out. Whenever I go out I feel like I would leak or pass stools. I take a loperamide (Immodium) whenever I have to out but urine is still avoidable. I know there is no cure to it but still can anybody help me relieve symptoms while travelling? Specially happens before leaving home and worry of not having washrooms around.

Hiiii...my daughter is 2.10 years old...her weight is 17kg...today she is continuously coughing...and sometimes she is also sneezing...for sneezing i give cetirizine syrup...but no good results comes...can i give cetirizine 10 mg tablet?...also for cough i gave levosalbutamol ambroxol HCl nd gauiphensin syrup...but its taste is tooo much bitter ...she didn't take...we also give this syrup with honey but she didn't take properly...so please suggest some other cough syrup...can i give juice to her ( pomegranate+ beetroot+ carrot+ orange)she also like curd..can i give curd...plz give advice what food, fruits i gave to her?

I gave birth to girl baby at 35th week. From past two days she is having lot of cold and there is sound from throat and nose when she breaths. I consulted pediatrician he suggested Ambroxal HCL 8 drops three times, Novamox 0.5 ml two times and Noblock nasal drops 4 times a day. But after all these medicines I didn't find much improvement. Still she is struggling with the cold stucked back of the throat. Please tell me how long it will take to get cured. Really worried a lot as she is already a preterm girl. Her birth weight is 2.67 kg and day before yesterday her weight was 3 kg.
