Sir/mam , I have recently visit the eye doctor for the discomfort in my left eye and they prescribed me trupred (prednisolone 1%). Upon checking it has more side effect as its steroids .it can also cause glaucoma.please help me i am only 31 . What if i dont use this eye drops and just skip it ?. Will i become blind ? Also just one eye or both

From today morning i am more irritated, i am having runny nose, nose congestion, ear discomfortness and light pain and block feeling, only side headaches. But no fever, no cough, spo2 and heart rate is normal. I have not came into contact with covid patient. Please guide me.
