Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

I have been experiencing a dull, constant discomfort on the left side of my abdomen and lower back for the past few weeks. The pain shifts slightly — sometimes under the left ribs, sometimes around the side, and now more in the left lower back near the spine and side. It feels like a muscle-like or pressure-type pain, not very sharp, but constantly noticeable. Additional details: * The pain gets noticeable when sitting for long or bending * Passing gas sometimes gives relief * No fever, vomiting, or appetite loss * Urine is normal, no burning or blood * Stools are sometimes sticky and smelly, but I can pass them regularly * I had mildly elevated bilirubin earlier ( 2.08) on 14th sept and it is 1.4 tested around 28th sept * I stopped alcohol for the last 30 days * I occasionally feel an empty or crampy sensation in the upper abdomen Currently, the pain is constant in the left side and middle as well or upper side, Please suggest if I should get an abdominal ultrasound or any tests.

I have taken LFT test, Bilirubin 1.2 and sgot 40. All others are normal. Slight discomfort when sleeping on right side. Kindly advice

Im not good in english please understand: At around or less than 5days ago I feel chest tightness and lump in throat but I've searched online and tried to drink a 1 bottle of smirnoff mule vodka (at that moment my substitute for soda) I felt relieved but I can still feel a bit tighness but its not like before I drunk the vodka. now after 3days, I felt discomfort in my lower left rib cage and at the back, but I don't feel pain when I touched somewhere in that area. (the discomfort is gone after 24hours). at this moment, when I swallow I'm feeling something discomfort in my throat in my left side of adam's apple. I didn't had fever since last week. I would like to ask also where can I have a General Checkup whithin BGC or Pembo Makati area?

Having pain below ribs, chest tightness and a pulling sensation in middle of stomach esp while moving since Feb-2021. Chest X-ray, ECHO, TMT, blood test are all ok. Endoscopy had H. Pyroli +ve. Had COVID in Nov-2020 with no symptoms and was tested negative in Dec-2020. Vitamin-D is 52. Taking uprise 60k since last 3 weeks. Have consulted a few doctors as per them it's anxiety & costochondritis. They prescribed Etizola, Propranlol, Gabapentin, Normaxin also but the discomfort is still there. Please advise.

I have been experiencing discomfort and mild pain in the upper right abdomen for the past six months, along with symptoms of gas and belching. Due to persistent symptoms, I underwent an endoscopy, which showed findings suggestive of gastritis. The impression was esophagitis with pangastritis, and testing indicated that I am positive for H. pylori infection. Additionally, I have also undergone an ultrasound, which showed Grade 1 fatty liver. Currently, I am on medication, and my doctor has advised starting a Pylo Kit for eradication of H. pylori. However, before initiating the Pylo Kit, I have been prescribed preliminary medication (Esomeprazole and other supportive drugs) to stabilize my condition. After completing this initial course, I will begin the Pylo Kit treatment as advised. I have experienced some relief with medication, but I still do not feel complete comfort and continue to have intermittent symptoms.

I have a history of chronic urticaria with symptoms like itching and burning sensations, though these have reduced recently. My current concerns include persistent bloating, mild discomfort or pain below my ribs on both sides (which I’m unsure is due to pain or bloating, as it only hurts when pressed), and lower back pain. The bloating is continuous, and I struggle to release gas through burping, which tends to be lengthy and requires effort. I also feel the urge to pass stool 3 to 4 times a day, particularly right after eating, but the stool is either minimal or doesn't pass at all. Additionally, I notice that gas is released only when I eat food or drink water. I drink alcohol moderately (twice a week or monthly) and smoke regularly, around 5-6 cigarettes a day. These issues are persistent and concerning, especially the bloating and digestive discomfort. I'm facing left chest pain and left shoulder and hand pain from last 1 month. Also I'm having left rib pain and back pain. Also I am having hip pain and sudden knee pain. Kindly help me know what could be the course for above symptoms and which type of doctor I should consult? Thanks..

I am feeling on and off burining sensation near my lower left rib. It is like a hot burning sensation and is prevalent when i lie down. When i do somw work there is no pain. But when i lie down it feels like a hot sensation near my left rib towards the back nearr the rin. It has been ongoing foe two weeks now. Can I know what it is and how to get rid of it. I dont feel any pain just diacomfort beacause the left side feels aching near the lower rib and there is a hot sensation ongoing on the same side when i lie down.

Lower left ribs stick out more than lower right ribs. No pain or discomfort. I just noticed this yesterday.

I feel some discomfort when sleep facing towards my left hand side seems like not very sure there is some small swelling or might be enlarged just below the lower most left rib. Is is due to sleeping towards left as i sleep 80% times facing my left ? Plz suggest if i need to visit doc ?
