My daughter is suffering from very hard stool and she is crying and forcing by tight her leg but hard bubble of faecal is not come easily. I am giving her lactulose syrup, milk of magnesia, figolax etc but the problem is same. Then last I give her dulcolax inserting in the anus then after sometime with huge pressure by herself bubbles came out. Please doctor suggest me, how can and by which medicine, we can solve her problem.

Hi doctor ! My little girl is of 2yrs old. She has not passed motion since aweek. I have consulted 2 different doctors and have prescribed lactulose syrup. However I find this not much helpful. Her diet wise I include greens ,vegetables and she takes a guava. She does take milk. I find her v active. Plz help!

Actually few days ago my sister got delivered a boy date 16 November 2023 so sometime my sister gives him own milk but probably more from lactulose She is not producing proper milk to give him milk she has not any kind abnormalities decteted so she wants to give milk to a baby but not sufficient to produce Any suggestions from you to produce milk and any eating foods so that she will produce milk more and more

My mother age is 54 and she is cardiac and suger patient. As of now she has constipation issue and she is not feeling hungry. We have given her Syrup grincltus 2 tablespoon three times a day. Syrup lactulose 3 chamach at night. Also given Anima for 2 times. Still her constipation is not reliving. Pls advise.

I'm 24 weeks pregnant , I have constipation , dr given me lactulose syrup for that, I'm using it from 2 nd month , now when I take the syrup ,I'm not passing stool, instead it causing abdominal cramps.that means the the cramps are caused in the uterus,there is harm for baby by the syrup? I have been having hard stool problem for 1 month.Some tablets and syrups were recommended by doctor,my condition was good while having those syrups(milk of magnesia and lactulose solution).But after those bottles have completely consumed,the problem of hard stool is again started. i dont know why this happens..!! i have been suffering very pain at the time of bowel movement.. please give me solution

I feel the tendency to go the washroom multiple times during the day.However,I can't clear my stomach even once, satisfactorily.Most of the times, it's gas.This happens every time I have something. Even after a cup of coffee.I bought a Lactulose solution for this problem.But, it has been 2 days and still no improvement

My son is 3 years old. He is potty trained now. Last 6 months I have used lactulose syrup 10 ml for the potty training bcoz he has problem of constipation. After he get potty trained he do potty daily . Till yesterday I gave him lactulose syrup 10 ml mixed with orange juice bcoz he doesn't like to drink it raw. Today I didn't give him the syrup and he didn't potty. He eats fruits veggies a lot and also drinks water . My question is can I use this stool softener daily? How long it is safe to use for kids?

Hi Sir/Madam, My son who is 4months old is not passing stool past few days (6days). He poops after 1day when he was given lactulose USD syrup. This problem started when he was 3and half month old. As Pediatrician suggested I am giving him lactulose syrup every 3rd day (2.5ml twice a day) of constipation, then after a day he used to poop. But this time after 6doses(3days) he didn't poop. I'm very much worried. Please do let me know if any home remedies or need to do any physical exercise? And is this issue common in infants or need to worry?
