Cramps in stomach
I'm 24 weeks pregnant , I have constipation , dr given me lactulose syrup for that, I'm using it from 2 nd month , now when I take the syrup ,I'm not passing stool, instead it causing abdominal cramps.that means the the cramps are caused in the uterus,there is harm for baby by the syrup? Kindly suggest.

Syrup is not harmful.. infact if you have piles or fissures in pregnancy because of constipation it's more disturbing. Adjust the dose till you have proper motions. For uterine cramps that you are telling please consult your gynec for a check up.

It's safe in pregnancy but have natural high fiber content diet and drink lot of water
