My daughter aged 4 years. She is taking medicine for fits for the past 3 years. We did genetic test. It showed dravet syndrome. Doc said we must give her medicine for life long. We are more worried about this. Is there any treatment for dravet syndrome? My question is at present we are giving her 2 medicine( topomac 1, valparin 4ml)in the morning and 3 medicine( topomac 1and half, frisium 1,valparin 4ml)in the night. My question today while giving valparin medicine she spit few outside. May be 1ml or below. Could it cause any side effects

Hi dr, My son s having fever for past 3 days. Started antibiotic from.sunday advent syrup. Mild fever s there. Today my another dr gave to give mcosvir syrup along wth advent syrup.. the listed medicine s below Advent forte syrup Mcosvir syrup Asthalin P250 and Frisium tablet My doubt s can v give all the medicine together or any time gap to b maintain. Advent and mcosvir syrup can b given together Kindly clarify. He has having sneeze, running nose, and wheeze cough Kindly clarify my doubts

Hello dr, my son s having fever from sunday , sneezing dry cough, Started advent forte, asthalin syrup Today my dr suggested Advent forte 5ml twice a day, Mcosvir syrup 3.5ml twice a day P250 Asthalin 5ml twice a day and Frisium 5mg 1/2 tablet twice a day. My doubt is can v give advent n mcosvir syrup together . Is both antibiotic or not. Plz advice

My nephew birth date 24/7/18 now 5month old. Cieser delivery at his age of 15 days he is suffering from siezure. From his 15 days he is on various epilepsy medicine. After all normal reports like MRI, EEG he found left Parieto Temporal lobe in PET CT on 17/12/18. Now he is on medicine with Sabril, levipil, Gardenal(phenobarbital), frisium, topomac, calcimoax, vitanova d3, still there is seizures 7times in a day. Now doctor suggest ketogenic diet for baby. He is too young but his weight, height and all activities are normal. We are giving best medication in Wadia Hospital. Please suggest something as your best.

Hi there my mother is complaining about some tinkling or wave type on right side of brain since 10 days. She has history of seizures and is on eptoin 100 twice a day. She didn't have seizure attack since last 5 years. Considering her history we got MRI and EEG done (reports are added). Reports appear to be ok but she is continuously complaining. We consulted 4 neurologists so far but Everyone is saying reports are normal. If they are then why she is not ok. One prescribed frisium another dicorate 250 with eptoin, third said eptoin only fourth said ventab plus eptoin. Now this is really frustrating to see that nothing seems to be working. Sir/Ma'am I am having epilepsy but the seizures are quite normal. It just occur while I used to have lunch or dinner once or thrice in a month and it lasts for hardly 4-5 seconds. Now my age is 19 and I want to become a profession Bodybuilder, so can I go for Anabolic Steroids? My Medications are as follows : 1. Oxetol 600mg (in the morning after breakfast) 2. Oxetol 900 mg + Frisium 10 mg (after the dinner, before bed) Please help me out. I am suffering this Epilepsy episodes since 2013 1st August till date but the seizures occur only if sometimes I used to take the medicines in the morning. But it is normal.

My father was recently admitted to hospital after weakness /vomiting (low sodium). He was also diagnosed with Autoimmune Encephilitis based on inputs like .. (a) EEG = Abnormal awake EEG record s/o generalised seisure disorder. Pls r/o nonconvulsive status epilepticus (b) Very high levels of Anti TPO .... VGKC negative. (c) Brain MRI also indicated cerebellar atrophy, subtle T2 Flairs, lacunar infarcts, punctate calcification, prominent VR spaces, cystic gliotic areas, etc. Medications given: Inj Solumedrol, Uritin, Glycomet, Ecosprin, Cilacar, Rekool D, Liofen, Deplatte, Clonotril, Medrol, Frisium, Levipril, Tricaine, Inj Human Actrapid. Symptoms showed: general weakness, irrelevant talking, memory loss, difficulty in doing routine works, etc. He was hospitalised for about 7 days. Even after 15 days of start of medications /diagnosis, there is no big recovery.

My husband is having extreme weakness and dizziness. He is facing extreme bodyache and severe headache. We already started rich diet including soaked almonds ,walnuts, raisins, dates,black chana, paneer, fruits, soya chunks veggie, green veggies, all kind of pulses, Electrol , Glucose, coconut water, Protein shake, Turmeric milk mandatory at night along with Zinc tablets and Vitamin C tablets. All this are continued with his epilepsy medicines: VALPARIN CHRONO 500Mg and FRISIUM 10Mg. His CRP is still 17.98 . History: My husband has developed symptoms on 22nd April and got tested covid positive on 25th April, his CT score was 12/25 and CRP was 65. He had very bad cough and blood stains in mucus while coughing. We gave him proper medicines and his RTPCR came negative on 9th May. He has the existing disease, absense seizure, kind of epilepsy for which he daily takes above mentioned medicines. But he is very restless and tried whole day.Please suggest do we need to take any other medicine

My baby will be 1 year tomorrow. And he had fever yesterday night.99.1 was the temperature.. i gave him paracetamol 250.. morning his body heat was high. I was about to take to him to hospital and it happened. His eyes Froze.we took him to emergency. Temperature was 101.4, suppository 170 mg was given.. pediatrician consulted said its febrile seizure. And it will go away once he's older.. and gave frisium, dolo.. vomiting and cold medicine. Suppository was given at 9.30 am. now he's still warm. I'm doing tepid sponging.. he hasn't eaten anything. Morning he had 150ml of formula and that's it. He's refusing to eat anything now and he's sleeping.. what should I do now.. I'm unable to process anything in my mind. He's a active kid.. while we came out of the hospital, he clapped and said bye to everyone. He started walking around 11 months. please pour your suggestion. He indeed had a cold. Pediatrician checked his chest and found that out. Since he had no running nose. His weight is 9kg
