Recently Answered Questions on Betamethasone

Recently I consulted a urologist for tight foreskin (phimosis) problem and he prescribed me a oninment called "Candid" also known as 'clotrimazole cream I.P' beacuse it is antifungal cream so iam in little doubt here whether it works for tight foreskin problem or not. I want to know that is he prescribed me right kind of cream or not. P.s: My problem in detail: I can retract my skin completely back when it is flaccid but iam not able to retract even half way when it is erect. When I asked him why are u not prescribing  any steroid cream like 'betamethasone' he said it's not required because my skin is too thcik. Please reply me whether he consulted me properly or not or should i need to see another doctor.

I have pyoderma due to I.b.d problem and apthous ulcer I M taking dexorange syrup 3 times. cetrizine 5mg at night and lotion applying mix betamethasone cream 0.05mg and clotrimazole 1% cream mix. But no improvement in constipation and lactizip syrup and pan d tablet. This problem after recovering from bells palsy. My bells palsy medicine were Prednisone 2b.d and honey three time after meal.I have done wholebody test all are negative excluding iron.

Been over 2 mnths now.  I've tried antifungal creams, antibiotics & now trying a steroid ointment called Betaderm (betamethasone valerate) & an ointment called Fucidin. I need it gone fast & permanently.  It's in my bum crack, raw and slow to heal.  It started with the large raw area that you see, but then two small ones appeared later, one under the large area and one above it. I have asked this question earlier. I have not relief in constipation and pyoderma. Can i take omnacortil 5mg two times after meal in place of cetrizine 5 mg at night. Age:18, Gender: Male I have fungal infection on thighs because of it red rashes and itiching on my thighs candiforece capsule,volimont tablet,ketodoc cream used till 10 days these are my old medicine my current medicine are capsule icm 100 mg, diflazacort tablet,lulifin lotion,betamethasone cream from 6 days no improvement in condition my age is 18 year gender- male,weight 54kg,height -177 i am using nycil cool talc for keep away wetness which medicine can cure fast and return my color of skin

Mom aged 45 year patient - We checked all around doctor and test has been done and found rheumatoid arthritis , proper medicine has been started from one of government hospital from rheumatologist, but medicine are not suits, as loose motion start, so discontinued but taking ENACE P with BETAMETHASONE tablet from past 1 year daily and it give relief for whole day, NOT FULLY, but somewhat, now ENACE P medicine not available in market, that's why situation goes worst day by day and same content of ENACE P but different company has been tried but not giving a single moment relief, now suggest us someting to do In this situations?

Male Patient, aged 20, facing recurrent ( 6-7 times ) ingrown toenail on his right toe for last 2- 3 years. Wound develops on either one or both sides of the toenail. Undergone one-sided as well as both sided nail avulsion, 4-5 times & full nail avulsion 2 times by general doctor. Everytime advised to take augmentin, chymoral plus alongwith dressing using betadine lotion & Mupirocin + Betamethasone cream. Yesterday, he visited a general surgeon at govt. hospital who, without taking his consent & informing him about the procedure, again did full nail avulsion ( perhaps without cauterization /  matrixectomy ) on 7 Jan 2021. # Is it possible to know which procedure was performed ? # If not done already, can nail matrixectomy be done now to stop recurrence ? # What is the success rate we can expect ? # How much would it cost ?? Patient is very upset after this . Now he is even thinking of toe amputation to avoid recurrence. He is emotionally devastated. Kindly help this poor guy.
