Cold in my 3 months baby

My baby is 3 months of age and got cold , my pediatrician prescribed maxtra p with dosage of 0.5ml twice a day for 5 days .even after two weeks cold is not cured in my baby and even i found mucous in her poop. What migh be the reason.? Please help!
