Dear Doctor, I have pain in my anus or may be Prostate gland. The pain comes and goes. I went saw Urologist. He checked my Prostate and penis. He asked me to do Urine culture and semen culture. In the test E coli was found in Urine culture and another infection by some name Proteus morabilus in Semen culture. He gave Antibiotics and Alfoo 10mg. After a month I checked again both the bacteria were present. No improvement. He again gave me another Antibiotic with Alfoo 10 mg. I have completed the dosage but still paining if I pass Urine late. I don't pass Urine often as I have less water. Only in winter I pass Urine often. Doctor Urologist has not asked me to report again. Now that I get pain inside anus. What could be the problem? I don't have constipation problem, never had constipation problem in my life. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with stomach Ulcer and 1 year ago with piles by Gastroenterologist. I was given medicine and I became alright. Now again anus pain. Clarify

I am suffering acute UTI infection last 2 yrs. I took antibiotics 3 months as per prescription and 6 month I am taking alfoo tablet but last week I did the test and the result heavy growth of morganella morganii ssp morganii. I just want to know can I admit hospital for better treatment? Please suggest. I am really in trouble, for the infection my entire body ache increase tremendous and feeling like fever. Sir, i m 28 years old. I have some urinary problems of slow stream of urine, trouble in starting urination & Sometimes frequent urination in day time only but not in night. In USG KUB report says Prostate is enlarged,volume is 29cc , so that ,it is BPH or Prostatitis? I am also taking Alfoo 10mg for 1 month & silodal 8 for 15 days, but not much relief till now. Please help

I hv cystitis and symptoms are irregular urination , i feel that bladder does take time to start the urination .. i have 3 stones 5 mm 4 mm 3 mm billateral .. i have been advised for alfoo then changed to sildoo 8 .. now dr is asking for mcu rgu .. is there a way to treat it naturally or without doing this test which is scary as they insert cat-ether. Im having prostate grown in size 13.3cm. I consulted the doc as i was having frequent pain in abdomen and urination problems and now pain under genital and testicals. Doc has prescribed Alfoo 10mg, levoflaxocin and mirabeg 50mg. It is prostatitis i assume, Now Im concerned if this chronic or acute. How do we differentiate and will this cure my problem fully? Or do i have to continue these meds for a prolonged period of time?

I am 33 yr old suffering from Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. I have urinary pain in urethra, weak urine stream, urinary incontinence (feeling of incomplete emptying). I have been using Tab Alfoo and Urotone from past 20 days with very little improvement. Is surgery the only option for BPH? How can I/one live healthy with this condition for long term without stress/anxiety.
