Im having prostate grown in size 13.3cm. I consulted the doc as i was having frequent pain in abdomen and urination problems and now pain under genital and testicals. Doc has prescribed Alfoo 10mg, levoflaxocin and mirabeg
50mg. It is prostatitis i assume, Now Im concerned if this chronic or acute. How do we differentiate and will this cure my problem fully? Or do i have to continue these meds for a prolonged period of time?

Start from beginning, first of all your prostate is of normal size, second thing prostatitis is not a disease that can be diagnosed by assumption , it can be diagnosed by rectal examination followed by USG for prostate or MRI pelvis. It will be called as acute if your prostate will be tender with symptoms of prostatism, as you are having. Once acute phase will be over , prostate tenderness will be subside but prostate still show features of infection-either by clinical symptoms/ radiological feature. This can be completely cured by medication, by taking dedicated treatment from a urologist, having faith in him and avoiding internet/google. Best wishes
