Is the prostate size normal
My father age 58. Ultrasound Prostate measures 4.6x 4.5x 4.7 cms volume 52 gms. Pre void urine 300 cc And post void residual urine- Nil.
Prostatomegaly without significant post void residual urine. Is his prostate enlarged he had prostatitis infection a month ago his prostate reduced from 80gms to 52 gms. Is it normal

Still his prostate is much enlarged (52 gms) as compared to normal (20-25gms). I think he must need to take medication for prostate enlargement for better flow and to avoid UTI.
