Missed my period and BT had aspotting of blood once and went to doctor was scanned nothing was seen BT spotting continued what could b the problems

I had an incomplete abortion by medication in the later half of June 2017 and have been bleeding off and on since then. I have recently got a sonography done which states that I have some dead particles of the conception still left in the uterus. My gynae has suggested a D&C to clean me up. I want to know if elimination of the left over particles is still possible via medication or is D&C mandatory in my case since it has already been more than two months since the first procedure. Now I'm in 21st week. And baby weight is 330g . Doctor told that, I need to go 4 scan. Is it really required?? Is it a normal weight??

This month august 3rd I got my proper flow of periods and it was there for six days beforw that I got my spoting from July 30th onwards...my average cycle.length is 29days.....every one or the other cycle its happening like this....I had the history of endometriosis but I always had regular periods inspite of that also.....my breast is also getting
