I have taken priminor tablet for 2 days(morning -evening)to delay my periods,my periods came after 3 days of completion of tablets...but there is heavy bleeding with abdominal cramps..is it normal ?

Hello doctor Recently my friend had miscarriage at 17 weeks. Ie.. Dec 31st . And jan 17th did scan report says no rpoc. She got her period on 11th Feb with light bleeding for 3days and again she got her period on 25th Feb with light bleeding for 3 days . Now she got period on 11th March with spotting. Hi I am in 22 week I have gestational diabetes. My sugar level in the morning is between 91 to 100 and 1 hour after food is between 120 to 160. My level increases only on few days even after diet changes. Is it ok to take metformin for a week twice daily for a week. 1000 mg split into two times. Morning and night after food. Please advice
