Is there any permanent cure for mental illness? why medication is used for longer periods of time for mental illness?

I am not sure whther its hypersomnia or something else, cuz my father having weight around 100-103kg and he sleeps a lot...anytime anywhere, and we are stressed about my father and want him to diagnosed as soon as possible but we are not sure whom and where to consult. Can you please suggest a specialized doctor or should I discuss with MD

Short temper ,irritate with small small talk and doesn't listen in one time ,hesitation to talk other people ,fear to face new people doesn't interect with people only talk with known people like family, some friends

When things are going just the way I had planned, I feel zero enthusiasm and lack of confidence. I do not even understand the reason of sadness or even if I am really sad. I'm going to my dream college in june and it scares the hell out of me thinking I will never get my cheerfulness back. I'm unable to concentrate on things I enjoyed the most earlier, my work, reading, movies. I do not even feel empathy now though I'm very sensitive person. Sometimes I break down for a reason I don't understand and other times I'm least bothered come what may. It's like doing things for the sake of doing.

I just don't know what's happening to me ..... Please help I just want to live . I feel sadness in my life and I feel anxious all the time.

For the last 6 months,worrying about health and feeling depressed all the time. Recently having shortness of breath.

I have not remember my past memories what will be happened and also the present memories will also be forgetted what can ii do

I have been taking epilan tablet for past 3 years. Recently checked EEG but no problem found. Now iam facing slight memory problems and excitement. Iam taking epilan 1/2 tablet morning and 1 tablet night. Can i reduce the consumption of epilan tablet.

Stress, insomnia, or regular bowel movement,lack in concentration,sneezing,boby ache,laziness,depression

When I am sleeping at night or daytime or whenever I say dreams wholetime whichI am thinking or talking about anybody sometime I am crying inmy dream but when Iwakeup I feel teears on my face when Iam sleeping at I wakeup about 3 or4 time and think where I am then again l can sleep but when lwakeup at morning l feel drougyness sometime l feel heavyness in my head sometime having major headache then l take voveron for releax l think or feel that l am sleeping soundfully or peacefully
