If psychosurgery cure all mental illness? Which part of brain is mainly targeted for psychosurgery ?

Hi, I've been in a relationship with my girl friend for 5 months now. And in a very big argument i just slapped her. The moment I did that I just tell he on her legs. She left me but the issue is that how can I hit her. I always thought I was better person. How can I just do tat?? I c an t get over it. Please help. I feel like to run away somewhere where no one knows me.

Do animal have mental illness? If not so why ? Why human suffer from mental illnesses? Do brain structure changes in mental illness? Which part of brain is responsible for bipolar or schizophrenia?

Crying so much over little issues fake smile talks or explains more than required particularly issues feels isolated, bad & alone t times feels as if all r using me & no one wants me ignnored as if no one cares

My Brother has sudden high and lows in mood. He is married and constantly doubts his wife . He is very rigid and very emotional. He has a very conservative mindset. He doubts everyone and has trust issues. He expects too much from his wife. He doesn't has his own opinion and goes on following whatever negative opinion a person gives about any person. He is very negative all the time. He shares very personal things with anyone. He loses his temper very fast and sometimes retort to emotional blackmailing to convince on his argument. He also wants everything to be placed in order and if someones changes it, then he loses his temper and abuses.

There is this friend of mine, who recently returned from the US and is disturbed on a serious level. He does not talk to anybody. Given the fact that he is an introvert, he used to have minimum conversation with people before. But now, he has quit talking to people and just doesn't want to have anybody with him. I have also sometimes found him talk to himself. Or this "imaginary" self.. He is not ready to share anything; just keeps smiling if he is asked a question. It's getting really hard to break him.. He has been smoking a lot and drinking too. The only reason he wants to hang out with us is cuz he thinks he can stay around us and drink or smoke. Since his parents started questioning about his recent habits/ drug abuse, he stopped caring and he has started smoking and drinking at home in front of his parents itself. We as friends are not able to understand what is going on with him and are worried. Please help.

At times so excited the other moment too low. Don't feel like talking when around people but when alone feel the need to be with someone. Too touchy to anything people say. Cry most of the times. Feels neglected all the time by everyone. Too angry at times even to understand a simple joke.

My son 17 year old passed 10+1 non- medical in April 2015,but there after obstruction In study as he social withdrawal disorder which starts in the year 2013.He has strong desire TO do IIT but could not go out and interact with Others, not able to attend any class Institution even not home tutor accepts. So now very upset, irritated, angry, helpless, indecisive, crying, shouting on us, throwing things on us, very obstinate. Otherwise he is very intelligent and wants perfection. Not ready for medicine or councillor at any place. Some say it is bipolar disorder, othersay it is schizophrenia. Kindly guide us.

I have being seeing a person and after that I have developed a problem of constant anxiety, continuously thinking about him, disturbed sleep pattern and expecting things from him that he is not providing, irritation and am not able to come out of it.

Is OCD completely curable? Can OCD be cured without medicines? Is it a brain's physical disorder or mental disorder?
