My hba1c is 7.6 past 5 years not coming down despite all efforts . I am a regular exerciser , no sugar and fat diet

I have Hba1c of 8 and am taking glycomet 500 mg once before breakfast. 1. Do I need to eat immediately after taking med or can I wait for one hour. 2. Can I take jamun seed powder with the med.

During my routine health check-up I found my blood glucose level are as below: 1.) Blood glucose - fasting (opd) - glucose,fasting, plasma (method: hexokinase) - 85mg/dl (recommended level: 74-99 mg/dl). 2.) Glucose, post-prandial, plasma (method-hexokinase) - 66mg/dl (recommended level: 70-139 mg/dl). It looks alarming to me. :(

I am 23yrs old female n both my parents hv diabetes . I did a blood test for regular check up and had my FBPS : 168mg/dL on 18th May , 2018 . After consulting a general physician I was given Glyciphage SR 1mg twice daily after having food . On 3rd June 2018 did another blood test and my FBPS : 127 n PPBS : 167 mg/dL. Shall I keep hvng ds medication of this dosage only ? Thank you
