I was prescribed metride 2 when my diabetes was around 450 and now it is around 150 should I continue with the same medicine even now I m having diabetes from 7 years nobody else in my family has diabetes

My mother is diabetic(since 5 months). She has been taking allopathic medicine and her sugar is under control.. But she is experiencing intense burning sensation on toes of foot.... My mother has low TSH 0.01 for 6 months under diagnostic and now in 7 month TSH is 0.04 She has low hear rate min 37 and max 55. We have consulted endocrinologist and Cardiologist. We found Thyroid problem for my father in May 2018. At that time he is having TSH is 6.18. He is taking the medicine ThyroAce 12.5 mcg regularly in the morning. Recently we have checked that again and TSH now is 6.91. Please advise.
