Hi i am 22 yrs old mbbs student. Yesterday i got diagnosed from Grave's disease. Endocrinologist told me to go for radioactive iodine thyroid ablation. Even i booked an appointment for that. Now i read a study on this therapy by American thyroid association in which they said that the life is worse after 6-8 years of RAI therapy compared to surgery and drugs. Now i am little stressed. Is it Good to go for this ? Will it be good for my carrier ? I am worried about thyroid eye disease too in thd future, but now i only have dryness and little heavy one eyelid. Please guide!!🙏🏻

Hello Sir, My brother-in-law suffering from Diabetes. Its been an year he started using medicine but no luck. Still it is 400 before food and 450 after food. Any suggestion please Regards, Jagadeesh

Dear doctor my father's glycemic control throughout the day with Apidra and Lantus is quite good and remains normal. But as he takes 3U of apidra with lesser amount of carbs any day the blood sugar drops to 80-90 mg/dL within 2 hours. Then to prevent any chance of hypoglycemia at night during sleep he took 3 milk caramel chocolates and after that when I measured the morning fasting sugar after 8 hours the blood sugar spiked from 80 to 234 mg/dL. I don't know the reason behind this. Please explain and provide necessary suggestions for the same.

Hi, I am non diabetic , my weight is not reducing inspite of regular exercise and diet control, I am in menopausal stage please help.

I had diagnosed subclinical hypothyroidism in june 2020. For that I had started tab. Thyronorm 25 mg after suggestions of MD medicine doctor . But in July I suffered from a abortion .at that time I had consulted gynaecologist who had prescribed me thyroid profile test and my TSH was 8.5 and T3 T4 also reduced from normal value for which she has prescribed Tab.Thyronorm 100 mg . After taking3 month full dose i reduced my dose. Now 10 days before I am pretty well and I reduced my tablet dose .and again I have started 25 mg dose tablet. But for curiosity i checked my thyroid profile yesterday and reports are shocking TSH is now 11.5 Free T3 is also low from normal value Now what did I do..

I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism 2 months ago Thyroid profile 2 months ago: Tsh- <0.005    (0.27-5.5) FT3- 5.70        (2.02-4.63) FT4- 2.05         (0.8-1.7) General physician prescribed- carbimazole 30mg/day Thyroid now- Tsh- 0.21       (0.45-5.33) T3- 1.04         (0.87-1.78) T4- 7.27         (6.09-12.23) My Anti TPO ab results showed-  21 IU/ml                                                                     (ref <9) I have dry eyes. Gained 2.5 kg after starting of carbimazole. Dilzem 30 for Heart My antibody results came late and now doctor is on holiday. Does this confirm Grave's disease ? Should i continue treatment from general physician or go to an endocrinologist ? I am really stressed.
