Today I have checked my suger levels in home. Before food 270(8AM) and after food (12pm) 340. suger levels are high when I have pregnent and I took insulin for 15 days. I am normal. I used to go urination daily 4 times and I am not hungry always and not thirsty also. My mother was suffering from diabetes. But one this this is my periods time. Can you please help, In periods suger levels change . And I am feeling tense. Kindly advice.

I am 60 years old. My BS Test dated 13.5.2017 shows Fasting BSL as 138 and PP level at 108. HBA1C Test was above 7. Doctor has prescribed "Metaformin: 500 mg twice a day. I have been dignosed with prediabetics 6 months back with hbA1c values abt 6.1. Then i started to focus on my diet and lose weight upto 5 kgs now i weighing about 73. recently i checked my blood sugar levels where the HBA1C levels showing 5.6. and my fastng glucose was105 .
