I am facing problem in loosing weight.So i need to know Is there any test for harmonal imbalance in body??

There is no diabetes/sugar in my family history.. is there a probability that my mother can still be diagnosed with sugar at 52 years?

My d vitamin and b12 levels were 7 and 140 respectively 2 months back. My tsh was 6.5 at the same time. 2 months later after some vitamin supplements my tsh is 13.5. My doctor recommended to start taking thyronorm 25mg. I'm a male 22 years old. Is thyroid disturbed due to deficiencies? Should I take supplements and check again or get on with medication?
