Dr i have diabetes liver infection and swelling in whole bodypls help me doctor and in liver i have less of potassium and sodium alsi

I have PCOS. I tried loosing weight and it didn't work so I started taking metformin. I'm worried about negative side effects and will it worsen any insulin resistance symptoms if I come off it? (I haven't even been told by my GP that I am insulin resistant I just guessed)

My fiance 27yrs old, few days back she had fever for few days, and now admit in hospital, when doctor took blood for different testings, found extreme blood sugar (more than 300), So right now my worry is 1. Is this called Diabetics? And 2. Is this last long for whole life? 3. Is this called diabetic patient? Hope i can clarify my problem to you.

My blood sugar level depicted 250mg/DL on fasting .what does it mean whether I m diabetic
