My mother is daibetic and needs to occasionally visit the doctor for checkup of sugar level . Is it okey if I buy any sugar measuring instrument online , just to keep check on regular intervals. If yes, which product should I buy and how accurate is it ?

Glucometers are good for home monitoring. They all have a limitation and they are not as accurate. While visiting a doctor you should better get the sugar tested in lab
