I am 27 years old male and few months back during my regular checkup I have been diagnosed with High cholesterol levels of LDL - 176 , HDL - 47 , Total cholesterol - 240 , Triglycerides - 90 , VIT B12 - 190 . Doctor prescribed me with Crestor 20 mg and I took it for 3 months which increased my SGPT and SGOT levels. Then I took Prelipid Abbott company med which brought back my cholesterol levels to normal . But while taking these medicines I had constant muscle pain and anxiety and not a good feeling at all . I am regular lawn tennis player past 3 years . I want to know if I really need to take a statin or Prelipid for my whole life to keep my cholesterol level normal . I don't feel like taking medicines but when I stop them cholesterol levels jumps again . Please advice me what should I do and is medication really necessary . Is there any other way out of it ?? Please advice me.

I am 21 years old boy and I want to ask that i have taken a health suppliment from my gym coach 3 years ago and used it for two months October and November in 2013 but later i came to know that they were having dexona in it (corticosteroids) I am worrying that it can affect heart in my future. I am totally fit till now doing everything.

Before I was taking amalong 5mg for bp this reduced my migraine but bp was little high so the Dr changed the tablet for bp now I am taking zetelma40mg .now bp is normal but migraine headace has become more.so pls suggest which tablet I should take for both bp and migraine

I've always gotten dizzy and light headedness along with numb fingers when I stand up. But tonight I've been getting sharp pains when my heart beats wen I stand up. Right Unger my rib cage in the middle. Only when I stand up and only for 10 to 20 seconds. What is this?

I'm 37. My head and neck have been tingling for long periods over the last week. The last two days I have had a mild headache and today I had mild chest pain. I checked my mood pressure at a pharmacy today and it was 130/96, I checked again a couple hours later and it was 136/86. It has never been that elevated to my knowledge. I have an appointment in three days to see my physician. Should I be concerned about my condition between now and then? Thanks for your help.

I am 39 years old, male,. Around 20 years back i was heavily into sports. In May last year an angiogram was done which was normal but it showed a myocardial bridge in mid LAD causing a 30% systolic narrowing. Dr said its nothing and its pretty normal. But i still have the pain sometimes in chest and in the left arm. the pain always starts in the evening and lasts till night. happens in phases 10 days followed by no pain for a month or so and then again comes back. I saw a gastroentologist also who opined that i am suffering from GERD , did an upper GI endoscopy which was normal except for HPylori infection. Put me on pantoprazole. though things have improved but i still get pain in the chest The Dr said since i get anxious always it aggravates the pain and the GERD. The cardiac’s say angio is done and its clear and that is conclusive and gold standard test. I have started doing exercise and yoga diet modification, lost around 5 kgs wgt,cheut down smoking to only one per day, pls
