I Am a working professional and has a long hours sitting Job. My father has diabetes , BP and cholestrol and went through bypass surgery (with 90% heart blockage). Am an active individual who loves exercising and sometimes running. What measures I have to take to avoid Diabetes or any heart ailment . Should I go for any health checkup ??

Hi , I get this cramp near my heart , not sure it's my heart or muscle when I stretch my body. It seems the cramp is on my heart . I am very terrified . When I showed a local doctor he said it's nothing to worry after he did some breathing tests .

In last month I had problem with my heart. That means I started feeling uncomfortable in heart. At some Time I feel that sudden rise in my Heartbeats . I consult a doctor and had X-ray and ECG. All reports was normal. Doctor said that the pain was related to muscle pain. He gave me tables and I feel very nice. But in last two days I had same problem.( But somewhat less than previous). I have gastric problem also. Is there any connection of this problem to heart. I am worried. And always thinking that I may have heartattack. But I Don't have any bad habit that may harms heart. Please suggest me what to do...

My bp is 150/100. I started running in the morning and drinking 12 glass of water. My question are as fallow. 1. Is running good for high bp. 2. How to low my bp without any medicine 3. Right now I m taking medicine olmin (olmesarian medoxoml tablet 10 mg) 4. My bp has been increased after smoking first time only 2 pub of weed I will be very thankful if any one give answer to my question

Hello. My edge is 21. In last month I feel that my heartbeat was not regular. at one point heartbeat increase suddenly with sweat. I consult a doctor and had x ray and ECG. Report was normal. Doctor said that There is no problem With heart and the pain was related to muscle. He gave me tablet and I feel nice. But from last 4-5 days I had this problem again. Is their any signs of heart attack. And what should I do. I am Worried.

Routine stress, financial stress and household arguments have led her to high BP (fluctuating in the range of 160/90 - 175/110) since a few days now. This problem has never really persisted so long neither she complained about this disorder earlier. She is sweating even in the cold winter nights of 13°C min temp. Is it merely psychological? She is also taking medication for menopause, pyridoxine and vitamin D3 namely. Is there a concern, whom should be consult a counselor or a cardiologist??

My bp always fluctuates between 135 to 150 systolic and 80-90 diastolic. All tests are normal . I am on very low sodium diet and do 30 mins mild cardio exercise daily. I suffer from chronic stress and generalised anxiety. After taking anti depressants like alprazolam,my bp comes in normal range. But I have herd that these have terrible withdrawal effects and must be taken life long. as the body gets accustomed the dosage must be steadily increased to get get desired results. Really confused what to do.pls help

I had systolic hypertension and breathing problems due to chronic stress and generalised anxiety.( all tests like sugar,cholestrol,thyroid,ecg etc were normal).i was prescribed Prabhakar vati for a month by a practitioner and I had great results. My bp came to normal and everything was great. Unfortunately due to his sad demise the treatment discontinued. After stopping Prabhakar vati bp again shot up. Should I continue it. Can it be taken for longer period of time like 3-6 months and then taper off slower or is it like any other bp meds which must be taken life long.pls help

My mother is 48 yr old. She has had a period of increased heartbeat randomly with uneasiness 1-3 times a few years back. On getting the tests done, echo ECG etc everything came out to be normal. However tachycardia didn't occur again for almost 2 years until yesterday when she suffered extremely increased heart beat again in the morning around 7:30-8 am. She sweats, feels uneas and heart feels like it will pump out of the body. ECG is again normal. What else could be done?
