Heart Problems & Remedies

I am 27 years old male and few months back during my regular checkup I was diagnosed with High cholesterol levels of LDL - 190 , HDL - 40 , Total cholesterol - 280 , Triglycerides - 90 , VIT B12 - 80.  Doctor prescribed me with Crestor 20 mg and I took it for 3 months which reduced my Ldl count to normal but significantly increased my SGPT and SGOT levels. Then I took Prelipid Abbott company med which brought back my cholesterol levels to normal . But while taking these medicines I had constant muscle pain and anxiety and not a good feeling at all . I am regular lawn tennis player past 3 years . My father , uncle all have a history of high cholestrol. I want to know if I really need to take a statin or Prelipid for my whole life to keep my cholesterol level normal . I dont  feel like taking medicines but when I stop them cholesterol levels jumps again . Please advice me what should I do and is medication really necessary . Is there any other way out of it ?? Please advice me.

Hi..Sir/Mam, My father is heart attack patient.Before 7 months, 40 mm size of stent placed in LAD Position of heart for him.but now he have suffering dry coughing with cold conditions last 3 months,but we have checked out x-ray,but there is nothing it's said by docters ..but current stage for him the same condition ...Pls help us

I have got my ECG Tmt and eco test done and all test are normal still some times i feel pain in chest.My lipid profile test is also normal .I m diabetic patient.What should i do.

I have taken a health suppliment from my gym coach 3 years ago and used it for two months October and November in 2013. But Now i came to know that they were having dexona in it. Can it cause heart disease and narrow down your arteries? I have no problem till now.

I have just noticed that i am suffering from high blood pressure with little headache. The last reading was 163/99.

My father is a diabetic and high blood pressure patient ... His diabetes is  pre/post lunch - 115/175 and blood pressure is at constant level at 150/110 even after consulting a general physician. Initially he was prescribed and was using telma 40mg and cilacar 5 mg once a day. After two weeks of monitoring it is still the same each day even after taking these medicines ... Then the physician prescribed telma 80mg and cilacar 10mg ... Still the story continues, blood pressure is still high and is not going down from 150/110... Please suggest ... I will soon be approaching another physician. Any inputs will be helpful ..

My Husband's Cardiac Markers is on high risk. His lipoprotein & Homocystiene range is also high. I believe a healthy regime & diet plan could help him.

In childhood she has a hole in the heart.thats why she is difficulty in walking.after long Treatment doctor she is cured.but he says you have to take penedure injection monthly.sir it is necessary to take injection.

I'm 29 years old male.Gets Little localised pain in the left chest. Heart rate increases up to 100 BPM. Also gets anxious at times. ECG, ECHO & LIPID PROFILE tests are normal. Blood Pressure lies with in the normal range. Please guide.
