Last had an ECHO (in 1997) which revealed a mildly regurgitating AV and thickened MV. This was to check if fit for employment, which was confirmed. Thereafter, no return visits were made for check-up. Secondary prophylaxis was stopped then... Now, I seldom feel tired without exertion and occasionally dizziness for a short time.. Heart palpitations are the norm after physical exertion -can feel the heartbeat right through the throat. Does this require surgery? Im scared!!
