Hi i am having high heart rate since couple of years and doctor has prescribed propranolol tablet 10mg once which I am taking for last one year. In recent past sometimes I am having trouble while sleeping where I feel my whole body becoming numb and severe chest tightness and I wake up. It doesn't happen daily but often I feel this that too only while I go to sleep. The discomfort is so heavy that I could not sleep and as soon as l wake up my high rate become very high and sometimes I feel dizzy. Is it due to the medicine m taking as I take only tab ajaduo for diabetes which is under control. I do not have BP either. Though I tried reducing the dose of propranolol to half and one fourth to find the difference which seems effective.

I am suffering from hypertension (very high blood pressure). Can I take Metoprolol 25 mg x 2 tablets twice daily instead of Metoprolol Tartrate 50 mg twice daily?

I am taking Amlodipine 10 mg OD, Metoprolol Tartrate 50 mg BD, Lisinopril 10 mg x 3 OD and Chlorthalidone 25 mg OD. In the morning @ 10 a.m. , I am taking Amlodipine, Metoprolol & Chlorthalidone. In the night @ 10 p.m., I am taking Metoprolol & Lisinopril. I am daily monitoring my BP in the morning, afternoon and evening/night. In the morning BP is always high. Today morning it was 166/88. It varies all the time. 149/74, 136/73, 128/67, 138/61, 153/68. BPM varies between 57 to 63. I am also taking Levothyroxine Sodium, for Thyroid,  88 MCG once daily early in the morning. TSH value was 0.13 checked on 30 March, 2021 @ Thyrocare. The reference range is 0.3-5.5. After seeing the report, doctor reduced the dose from 100 MCG to 88 MCG. I am also taking Ibrance 125 mg (3 weeks on & 1 week off) & Anastrozole 1 mg. Please advise whether my medication is ok

Like for heart I take nitrocontin and cilaheart (blood thinner) I'm planning to take covid vaccine, will I have any complications post that? Kindly let me know. If people having heart issues along with hypertension and diabetes can go for the vaccine or not.

Dear Doctor, I am taking Chlorthalidone 25 mg tablet once daily for hypertension. 25 mg tablets are not available in India. Can I take 12.5 mg x 2 tablets instead of 25 mg x 1 tablet? I am also taking Metoprolol Tartrate 50 mg twice daily. Can I take Metoprolol 50 gm, extended release, twice daily if Metoprolol Tartrate is not available? I understand that Metoprolol Tartrate is immediate release tablet.

I was diagnosed with high blood pressure 4 years ago at 23 years and doctor said I should try loge style changes to control it sometimes my blood pressure gets high if I work hard or stay hungry or get stressed my weight is 6 kg more then normal bmi should I get checked and start medication or exercise will be enough

My father,66years Had angioplasty in 2014 he is on heart medicine ever since He is considering to take covid vaccine but he got his HS-Crp checked and it was 5 which is high risk I guess I want your advise whether he can still consider vaccine or first get HS CRP within normal range?
