My mother is having symptoms of edema in feet and hands since 7-8 months so we did ecg,echo,kft,lft,cbc Kft,lft,cbc is normal Ecg sometimes says t wave non specific abnormality and sometimes everything normal Main reason to worry is edema around toes of feet and lateral side of ankles in both feet and fingers of hands Are details sufficient in this echo to rule out heart failure or certain parameters are missing like E/e' and all ? Tell which parameters should be taken we will get them now. Is HFpef still possible with this ??

Hi Doctor, my brother have lipoprotein (A) 46.3 & bad cholesterol is 145. What should be best for him to reduce lipoprotein. Is lipoprotein 46.3 is high & is danger level for heart. What food should he ll take to reduce lipoprotein? Thank you Regards Abhinav

Palpitation started During Ramadan I was ok Till one week no proper sleep and was fasting heavy food after 7 day palpitation started feeling like heart pause And start. So I did ecg it came out incomplete right bundle branch block . ECHO TRIVIAL MR AND TRIVIAL TR OTHER IS NORMAL.TMT NEGETIVE. AND I DID HOLTER WHICH CAME OUT 1002 ISOLATED BEATS In 63 HRS 27 minutes and No arrhythmia  I ate sompraz 40 which cardiologist prescribed after my holter after that I felt little difference in my palpitation most of the palpitation happen while i sit I am worried and have bit anxiety. My weight is 92 kg height 171 cms I am 30 years old Is this because of gas I am facing the issue. Please guide me on this

I had slight chest pain for approximately 2 hours since i posted this question. I don't have pain in my arms or sweating. Had extreme physical exercise yesterday after 6-7 months. Thought had GERD so had ENO and Sompraz.

I have heart and cardiac anxiety and feel like I might have a heart attack or cardiac arrest if I work out a little or play. I had done multiple ecg and echo twice and also tmt the results came normal, can I play and work out without fear. I have left everything since months. Also recently while climbing stairs or exercising little i feel out of breath and also i feel my pulse in head. Bp is 120/78 resting heart rate 56-60. Help

Experienced shortness of breath and got the ecg done , got the above variation and then got the echo and tmt done , both tests resulted normal.Anything to worry about

Hi, In the past 1 year I've had a couple of anxiety attacks. I take inderal la 40 to control my heartbeats and anxiety. Since then, Sometimes i would get a shallow feeling in the chest followed by a strong thump heartbeat randomly during the day. But recently this thump has been happening a few times during the day and a couple of times every night when I'm resting or about to sleep. I'm stressed out because of this. My 2d report states mild MR, mild lvh and lvef 50-50%. I'm overweight, smoker and drinker. Kindly advice.
